The manual consists of 13 chapters and an appendix containing useful tables.
To facilitate easy reading and understanding, the contents of all the chapters are presented in the form of questions and answers supplemented with brief case studies.
Chapters incorporate the basics of echocardiography, transthoracic, transesophageal, and three‐dimensional echocardiography, delineate all aspects of mitral, aortic, tricuspid, and pulmonary valve disease entities as well as pulmonary hypertension.
The contents have been abstracted from the Comprehensive Textbook of Echocardiography. It thus
represents as useful and practical companion to the large textbook.
